Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lab Overview:
∎ She/he shall be responsible for the supervision of Hematology Lab which will include the technical supervision and review of hematology investigations and results.
∎ Consultation & Referral
∎ She/he shall review all the patient admitted under the Department and will see the referrals as first on call.
∎ Daily Follow up &investigations
∎ She/he shall daily follow up all the patients admitted under the consultant plan their management review the investigations update the consultant on progress of patients.
∎ He /She will evaluate the patients requiring bone-marrow transplant.
∎ He /She will monitor the patients admitted into the unit for the procedure and do the required monitoring for the same
∎ Procedures:
∎ She/he shall perform the procedures of Bone Marrow Aspiration, Biopsy and other hematological procedure
∎ He /She will assist in bone in bone marrow transplant activities
∎ Supervision of chemotherapy:
∎ She/he shall be responsible for prescribing administering and monitoring the patients undergoing chemotherapy under the guidance of consultant
∎ Emergency call:
∎ She/he shall be responsible to attend emergency calls and calls on public Holidays .In case of any admitted patients she may be required to visit the patients
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
