Requirements2–5+ years of proven experience in South Korea student consultancy/admissions. Must have A–Z practical knowledge of the South Korea admission and student visa process. Strong knowledge of South Korean universities, colleges, programs, intakes, tuition fees and admission requirements. Ability to independently handle the complete student file: Counseling → University Selection → Application → Admission → Visa Processing → Pre-departure. Excellent knowledge of document requirements, SOP/Study Plan, financial documents and visa documentation. Experience with D-2/D-4 student visa processing will be highly preferred. Strong communication, counseling and student-handling skills. Ability to communicate professionally with universities, partners and students. Good English communication skills; Korean language knowledge is an advantage. Must be responsible, detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple student files. Responsibilities & Context:
  • Counsel prospective students on study options in South Korea, matching academic goals and personal preferences to suitable universities and programs.

  • Assess student profiles and recommend targeted universities and courses based on admission criteria, career objectives, and budget.

  • Prepare and submit complete admission applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for each university requirement.

  • Review and validate all student documents, maintaining organized files and ensuring compliance with university and visa standards.

  • Draft and refine statements of purpose and study plans, offering constructive feedback to strengthen applications.

  • Advise students on scholarship opportunities, tuition structures, and funding options to support informed decision-making.

  • Guide applicants on Korean and English language requirements and recommend appropriate language preparation where needed.

  • Follow up with university admissions offices to track application status and secure timely responses and offer letters.

  • Process and manage offer letters and admission-related documents, ensuring students receive clear instructions and next steps.

  • Prepare students for visa applications by compiling required documents, completing forms, and advising on embassy procedures.

  • Provide detailed guidance on the South Korean student visa process, including timelines, interview preparation, and compliance matters.

  • Coordinate with embassies and visa authorities as needed to resolve documentation issues and facilitate successful outcomes.

  • Deliver pre-departure briefings that cover accommodation, travel logistics, cultural adjustment, and academic expectations.

  • Manage each student file from initial counseling through to visa outcome, maintaining clear records and milestone tracking.

  • Coordinate with university representatives, partner organizations, and internal teams to streamline application and admission workflows.

  • Monitor changes to South Korea’s admission and visa policies and update students and colleagues with timely, actionable information.

  • Provide ongoing student support, responding promptly to queries and addressing concerns throughout the admission and relocation process.

  • Prioritize tasks and manage caseloads to meet targets while delivering attentive, personalized service to each student.

  • Maintain professional relationships with university contacts and cultivate new partnerships to expand placement opportunities.

  • Prepare regular reports on application pipelines, admission outcomes, and visa statuses to inform team planning and decision-making.
