Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Analyze demand for FMCG products and prepare procurement plans.
∎ Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials and other supplies as required.
∎ Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.
∎ Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and conduct bidding processes.
∎ Conduct cost analysis and prepare comparative statements for procurement approvals.
∎ Manage vendor negotiations to ensure the best quality and pricing.
∎ Monitor the entire procurement process to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
∎ Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
∎ Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing and Production teams) to meet procurement needs.
∎ Assist in maintaining inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Job Context: One Direction Commercial Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing & Procurement officer (FMCG) to join our Supply Chain Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, procurement and supplier management in the FMCG sector, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
