∎ Remark HB Limited (RHBL) is a Bangladeshi limited liability company incorporated to manufacture and market health, beauty and toiletry products under the brand name REMARK. Remark HB is setting up a state-of-the-art, backward-integrated manufacturing facility on a 30-acre site at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpanagar, the country`s largest industrial park. The RHBL is heavily investing in the health and beauty care industry with a vision of market dominance within 2027. It plans to create direct employment opportunities for about 1,500 people and indirect employment for another 120,000 people. The company is going to establish a smooth supply chain and a wide distribution network targeting local, regional and international markets. We aim to introduce some of the best beauty and personal care products in the country that will meet the latest international standards.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify and establish connection with the potential overseas supply sources around the globe.
∎ To source different raw materials and equipment from quality suppliers for the cosmetics, personal care and home care products based on the desire specifications.
∎ To study and analyze the markets and availability for each items and source from the best possible sources available.
∎ To develop and negotiate the contract terms with the suppliers ensuring the procurement ethics.
∎ Coordinate with the production planning department and follow up raw material stock and confirm purchase orders to suppliers based on the requirements and maintain reorder point of each items ensuring stock of supplies at an optimum level.
∎ To coordinate R&D and costing department and help analyzing feasibility of any new projects providing required information.
∎ To collect and analyze suppliers' quotations and select the best alternative bids considering five rights of procurement.
∎ To develop supplier relationship and motivation and ensure suppliers' competitiveness at time to time through proper negotiation.
∎ To prepare budgetary report for raw materials purchase and make monthly procurement report for management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ • Extensive traveling to the different international trade fares and meeting with the overseas suppliers
∎ • Working in the FMCG industry's procurement Department, Export/ Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/ C&F, Logistic
∎ • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ • Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ • IT proficiency - advance level skill is a must in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ • Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ • Ability to multi task and remain organized, meet deadlines
