∎ B.Sc / M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering /Chemistry/ Chemical Technical Engineering / Industrial & Production Engineering from any reputed Public / Private University

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): supply chain management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Cosmetics/Toiletries/Personal Care

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify and establish connections with the potential overseas supply sources around the globe;
∎ To source different raw materials and equipment from quality suppliers for the cosmetics, personal care, and home care products based on the desired specifications;
∎ To study and analyze the markets and availability for each item and source from the best possible sources available;
∎ To develop and negotiate the contract terms with the suppliers ensuring procurement ethics;
∎ Coordinate with the production planning department and follow up raw material stock and confirm purchase orders to suppliers based on the requirements and maintain reorder point of each item ensuring stock of supplies at an optimum level;
∎ To coordinate R&D and costing department and help analyze the feasibility of any new projects providing required information;
∎ To collect and analyze supplier's quotations and select the best alternative bids considering five rights of procurement;
∎ To develop supplier relationships and motivation and ensure supplier's competitiveness from time to time through proper negotiation;
∎ To prepare a budgetary report for raw materials purchase and make monthly procurement reports for management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Extensive traveling to the different international trade fares and meeting with the overseas suppliers
∎ Working in the FMCG industry's procurement Department, Export/ Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/ C&F, Logistic
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a must in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, able to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multi-task and remain organized, meet deadlines

Salary: Negotiable
