Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in with relevant experience.
∎ Skills Required: International Procurement, Raw Materials Sourcing, supply chain management
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Purchase/ Procurement, Raw Materials Sourcing, supply chain management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Chemical Industries, Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supplier maintenance and data base development of RM sourcing.
∎ New source development.
∎ Prepare comparison sheet and vendor analysis.
∎ Understanding chemical properties and parameters, terminology and data sheet of different chemicals.
∎ Gather information from R&D and develop sourcing data sheet as per standard format.
∎ Price negotiation.
∎ Planning of procurement and inventory maintenance.
∎ PI collection and work in collaboration with commercial team.
∎ Assist in LC/TT/CAD and other commercial activities.
∎ Calculate landing cost considering invoice price, custom duties, freight charges, insurance etc.
∎ Sourcing document control and management.
∎ Any other additional duties as per Management requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in Chemical manufacturing, Trading, Plastic processing or Food Processing Industry.
∎ Sound knowledge on LC/TT/CAD etc.
∎ Should have knowledge on custom duties and regulation.
∎ Strong analytical ability.
∎ Strong communication skills.
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla.
∎ Sincerity & Responsibility.
∎ Honesty & Integrity.
∎ Fast acting for Problem Solving.
