Job Responsibilities:
∎ Wherever there is a need to produce better audio, a sound engineer might be found. To accomplish their objectives, sound engineers are often called upon to perform these core tasks:
∎ assess the acoustics of the performance area and assemble and operate the necessary equipment.
∎ consult with the organizer and performers to determine the sound requirements.
∎ select, position, adjust and operate the equipment used for amplification.
∎ apply technical knowledge of sound recording equipment to achieve the determined artistic objectives.
∎ monitor audio signals to detect sound-quality deviations or malfunctions.
∎ anticipate and correct any problems.
∎ maintain and repair sound equipment.
∎ integrate (synchronise) pre-recorded audio (dialogue, sound effects and music) with visual content.
∎ mix and balance speech, effects and music.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sound engineers must possess technical knowledge.
∎ Sound engineers must possess technical knowledge, they also should be Creative individuals with an exceptional ear for what sounds work well together. Other skills frequently exhibited by successful sound engineers include:
∎ Solving problems when equipment fails or things aren't going as planned.
∎ Communicating effectively to express artistic vision and to provide clear directions.
∎ Listening carefully both to the sounds being created and to other people's suggestions for changes and improvements.
