Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in EEE, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Installation of Solar System.
∎ Supervise total project.
∎ Develop detailed solar system designs, taking into account factors like location, climate, available space, and energy requirements.
∎ Determine the appropriate type of solar technology (PV or solar thermal) and components (inverters, batteries, trackers) for specific projects.
∎ Create project plans, timelines, and budgets for solar energy installations.
∎ Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities and utility companies.
∎ Oversee or participate in the installation and commissioning of solar energy systems.
∎ Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
∎ Implement monitoring systems to track the performance of solar installations.
∎ Analyze data to identify and resolve issues affecting system efficiency.
∎ Develop maintenance schedules and procedures to keep solar systems operating optimally.
∎ Respond to system failures and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
∎ Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency of solar systems and reduce energy losses.
∎ Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in the solar energy field.
∎ Maintain detailed records of system designs, installations, maintenance activities, and performance data.
∎ Prepare reports for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies as required.
∎ Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
∎ Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on solar energy solutions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong understanding of solar energy principles, PV technology, and solar system components.
∎ Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools.
∎ Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
∎ Effective communication and project management skills.
∎ Should have the experience of successful project handover.
