Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of projects, buildings or construction plans & works schedule.
∎ Responsible for timely completion of the civil construction project as per plan.
∎ Preparation of work procedures & BOQ of building or other construction works.
∎ Supervise and control the work activities of the subordinates involved the project.
∎ Ensure and supervise the activities of subcontractors and materials suppliers.
∎ Ensure quality of work at every phase of construction by maintaining quality control and appropriate/standard procedures.
∎ Ensure quality of work is maintained as per the design and specifications.
∎ Ensure the quality of construction materials by maintaining proper quality control.
∎ To prepare a project estimate and cost analysis based on working design/drawing.
∎ Identify measures for cost minimization.
∎ To ensure project/site labor management.
∎ To ensure timely progress of the project as per work procedure and construction schedule.
∎ To ensure site stores are well maintained, protected and secure with no excess unused materials.
∎ Ensure the timely Checking & finalizing of Sub-contractors/suppliers running and final bills.
∎ To assist in assembling the job site office and equipment requirements.
∎ Have confidence in own ability to intelligently communicate with Consultant/ Clients as well as effectively lead the Project execution.
∎ Monitor and maintain the projects construction schedule on a weekly basis
∎ Raise & discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings, Prepare & issue minutes of all site meetings.
∎ Inform the Consultant/Clients of any errors, discrepancies or missions contained within the Consultant design drawings.
∎ Monitor Safety & ensure that the requirement of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced.
∎ Ensure completion of and track all independent testing and inspections as required.
∎ Responsible for actual Running Bill Preparation along with Client Staff for the running Project according to the BOQ of the tender & Submit to the Client and Collect the Bill from Client.
∎ Maintain control and enforce good construction standard and quality control.
∎ Maintain control and responsibilities for the security and operation directly owned equipment on the job site in conjunction with site staff
∎ Control and monitor labour, materials and equipment expenses.
∎ Prepared monthly cost forecasting summaries.
∎ Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to manage and work under pressure.
∎ Strong leadership and management skills
∎ Energetic, confident, proactive and assertive.
∎ Experience in Factory building construction (RCC and steel structures) will get preference.
∎ Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
∎ Good communication skill (both written and verbal, Bangla and English).
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software, Auto CAD, Stat pro
∎ Familiarity with commercial contracts and their usual terms and conditions is expected
∎ Prioritizing timely completion of deliverables at minimal cost is expected
