Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, or related field of study required

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Works with ARP and PQM+ team members to identify requirements of PPE testing facilities.
∎ Supports to develop specification of Particulate filtration efficiency (PFE) test machine for PPE LAB Equipment and Medical mask differential pressure tester machine
∎ Provides technical oversight on bid analysis and develop recommendation of Particulate filtration efficiency (PFE) test machine and medical mask differential pressure tester machine.
∎ Leads to ensure particulate filtration efficiency (PFE) test machine and medical mask differential pressure tester machine supply and install properly as per requirements.
∎ Provides technical oversight on calibration of particulate filtration efficiency (PFE) test machine and medical mask differential pressure tester machine properly and hand over to DGDA/NCL
∎ Supports development of scope of work for PPE testing training service provider
∎ Prepares training materials for PPE quality testing and conduct in-house training program for trainers.
∎ Conducts TOT program for DGDA and NCL staff on i. Visual inspection ii. Particulate filtration efficiency (PFE) test iii. Medical mask differential pressure tester
∎ S/he will review DGDA existing practice and document of PPE and mask testing and quality assurance procedure.
∎ S/he will review international and national document related to the PPE and mask testing quality concern and support to establish PPE lab.
∎ Provides technical assistance to DGDA, in collaboration as appropriate with other implementing partners.
∎ Organizes workshops/training for key DGDA staff and stakeholders' consultation meeting
∎ Drafts regulatory requirements of PPE for lab.
∎ Develops/Reviews and implements instrument and test related procedures.
∎ Develop regulatory requirements of PPE for lab
∎ Develop Training materials:
∎ Visual inspection checklist to PPE lab staff
∎ Particulate filtration efficiency (PFE) test
∎ Medical mask differential pressure tester
∎ Training report

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five (5) years' practical experience in Regulatory and PPE Manufacturing company or relevant area.
∎ Good knowledge and understanding of Regulatory Functions and PPE issue.
∎ Working knowledge and understanding of regulatory systems strengthening in Bangladesh with an emphasis on Quality Assurance/ Quality Control of PPE
∎ Strong written (especially technical writing) and oral communication skills
∎ Willingness to travel.
