Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/Master's degree in pharmacy, chemistry, bio-medical engineer or related field of study required

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assists the PQM+ team to provide technical assistance to DGDA through review and assessment.
∎ S/he will review DGDA existing practice of licensing oxygen manufacturing plant and medical oxygen quality assurance procedure.
∎ S/he will review international and national document related to the medical and non-medical oxygen quality concerns.
∎ Identifies stakeholders and manufacturers of medical oxygen and arrange consultation meeting to get comments and feedback.
∎ Drafts regulatory requirements of medical and non-medical oxygen
∎ Organize workshops/trainings with key stakeholders
∎ Develop, reviews, and implements required assessment tool
∎ Develops reports and updates SOPs and other documents related to requirements.
∎ Keeps abreast of the latest oxygen-related regulatory trends and WHO guidance.
∎ Develop/reviews required assessment tool
∎ Report on regulatory requirements (license for manufacturing and product registration), including recommendations for DGDA
∎ Training materials and training report of key stakeholders training

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five (5) years' practical experience in medical and non-medical oxygen or work in leading oxygen manufacturing company.
∎ Good knowledge and understanding of medicines regulatory systems strengthening.
∎ Working knowledge and understanding of regulatory systems strengthening in Bangladesh with an emphasis on Quality Assurance/ Quality Control of medical and vaccine products
∎ Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
∎ Willingness to travel.
