∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Shift Operation Engineer for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Shift Operation Engineer shall be responsible for performing the thermal power plant operation & maintenance activities of Customer scope, that are BOILER and BOTTM ASH HANDLING SYSTEM, as per the procedures based on the instruction by Commissioning Group and reporting the operating status such as the result, the problem / solution to Commissioning Group.
∎ Shift operator works in main control room basically and shift operational team shall work in relays around clock after starting of thermal power plant system operation until COD.
∎ The Shift Operation Engineer’s responsibilities are to:
∎ Working in a multi-discipline site team of professional engineers, technical officers, Commissioning PTW Officer.
∎ Establish and document the commissioning or operational status reports with commissioning group.
∎ Perform all the power plant Performance Tests and Owner Acceptance Tests with commissioning group.
∎ Support local site work such as isolation, strainer cleaning etc, for commissioning team.
∎ Follow the Permit to Work system to ensure commissioning activities are undertaken at the highest safety levels for people and plant.
∎ Detect or predict problems and delays, and prepare action plans/solutions to recover any slippage in program with commissioning group.
∎ Report daily the status of commissioning activities such as the result, the problem / solution to Commissioning Manager with commissioning group.
∎ Establish and document the training material and assist in training programs for the Owner’s operators.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ Position requires previous super critical boiler operation engineer at least one (1) year.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
