Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communicating from time to time with the NLDC (National Load Dispatch Center) to fulfil the demand/requirement of power generation.
∎ Taking necessary action to keep the engines running while providing required auxiliary equipment leading to smooth running of the Plant.
∎ Monitoring and recording all the data or parameters of all the systems related to Engines & Auxiliaries while keeping eyes on any abnormalities of the equipment occurred and, if so, then take immediate action to fix up the abnormalities.
∎ Maintaining the parameters within normal range of all the fluids through checking these parameters under operation and in a 'stand-by position' of the plant.
∎ Preparing 'Generation Report', 'Reconciliation of Hourly Load Demand Report' and 'NLDC Demand Report', 'Daily fuel Consumption Report', 'Power (Load) dispatch or Plant factor Report' and submitting these Reports to the Plant In-Charge through the Manager Operation.
∎ Close supervision and monitoring of Water Treatment Plant (RO & Ion-Exchange) to maintain the recommended value for TDS (total dissolved solids), PH (potential hydrogen) and Hardness so that no abnormality does arise in the 'water operating systems'. In case any abnormality (abnormal value) is found, to inform the Chemist and Operation Manager.
∎ Troubleshooting of any electrical and/or mechanical fault in the plant during shift operation and rectification of the fault or assisting the 'Electrical/Mechanical maintenance team' for rectification of the same.
