Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from reputed university;
∎ Having extra diploma degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering will be added advantages.
∎ Skills Required: Creative Problem Solving Skills, Good comunication skill, Internet Applications, MS Office, Supervison, troubleshooting skills

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Health and Safety, Power Plant Equipment, Shift Charge Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Up gradation of the technical knowledge and same to be shared with team members and try to maintain the team spirit.
∎ Ensuring all field activities carried out by a field operator safely comp lying with appropriate SOP and company environmental health & Safety (EHS) guidelines at all times within the power station.
∎ Generating and sending daily reports, Gas reports, trip reports to LDC and OGC. Identify faults, raise system modification ions and notify the same through the Plant.
∎ Managing daily plant operation activities, restoration of plant after tripping as soon as possible, emergency handling, troubleshooting.
∎ Up gradation of the technical knowledge and same to be shared with team members and try to maintain the team spirit.
∎ Ensuring all field activities carried out by a field operator safely complying with appropriate SOP and company environmental health & Safety (EHS) guidelines at all times within the power station.
∎ Identify faults, raise system modifications and notify the same through the Plant Maintenance Management Software (SAP).
∎ Raising the plant modification, making of the plant operation procedures, trip reports, various commissioning related reports and emergency procedures.
∎ Responsibility for all aspects of Operations shift management, including cover arrangements for holidays, sickness or other shift changes.
∎ Initiating any maintenance or emergency services which may be required and to act as the main point of contact/incident controller.
∎ Ensuring that any Quality, Safety or Environmental Systems procedures which they are responsible for managing or undertaking, are performed in accordance with appropriate requirements.
∎ Monitoring of short-term contractors and maintenance staff within the Energy Centre, outside normal office hours.
∎ The personal and professional development of their shift team. Demonstrate good leadership and management skills and be able to develop their team personally and professionally.
∎ Conduct Risk Assessment reviews as necessary, to include audits of existing Operational Risk Assessments.
∎ All Energy Centre shift communications, logs, records, incident reports etc. are appropriately conducted and reported.
∎ Monitor Shift team sickness levels and conduct thorough return to work interviews as required.
∎ To ensure that the control of overtime is kept to a minimum and attendance is optimized
∎ The Shift Charge Engineer is responsible for promoting Plant improvement initiatives/efficiencies that have the potential to reduce operating costs or increase throughput and the Company's profits or public image.
∎ The Shift Charge Engineer plays an integral role promoting the general attitude, enthusiasm and willingness of his shift team.
∎ Responsible for maximizing production targets against budgets and also minimizing all shift operational cost.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Demonstrable and detailed technical knowledge of Power Plant equipment and operation.
∎ A commitment to undertake training as deemed necessary to improve and update knowledge and skills
∎ Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act, Factories Act and Electrical Special Regulations
∎ The ability to work with and lead a shift team.

Salary: Tk. 190000 - 210000 (Monthly)
