Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the maintenance and operation of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and backup generators.
∎ Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
∎ Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
∎ Design large-scale electrical systems to meet the needs of various projects, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
∎ Collaborate with project teams to develop electrical system specifications and ensure integration with other systems.
∎ Utilize industry-standard software and tools for electrical system design and modeling.
∎ Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with safety standards, regulations, and codes.
∎ Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
∎ Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
∎ Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
∎ Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
∎ Prepare and present project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines.
∎ Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures in electrical system operations.
∎ Implement innovative solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
