Job Responsibilities:
∎ The roles and responsibilities for this position are listed below, but not limited to:
∎ Social Investment:
∎ Provide counsel and mentoring to CE & SI advisors and members of the global community of practice Network
∎ Establish monitoring metrics to support evaluating CE & SI efforts
∎ Analyze CE & SI members training and capacity building needs and work with external bodies to provide training
∎ Identify areas of community impacts during base business and MCP operations and advise relevant functions on mitigation measures
∎ Support supply chain function to prepare capacity development plan and develop training materials for vendors as part of vendor management plan and share insights with Profit Center management
∎ Identify and make recommendations in areas of sponsorship and social investment opportunities.
∎ Government Affairs:
∎ Identify key social, regulatory and reputational issues/threats and proactively advise key stakeholders in Corporate Affairs
∎ Act as policy analyst for business unit affected by legislation and proactively advise key stakeholders in Corporate Affairs on; support, amend or defeat strategies
∎ Provide advice on Corporate Affairs issues to enable the development and implementation of strategic engagement plans with key stakeholders including government agencies & media
∎ Keep track of regulatory movements regarding land acquisition, requisition and advise Corporate Affairs key stakeholders on best approach to take to address the issues
∎ Support special Corporate Affairs projects as may be instructed by Corporate Affairs and BPC Leadership

Additional Requirements:
∎ Familiar with the basic rules of business of GOB
∎ Familiarity with MNC compliance processes and procedures
∎ Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience including project related works with government agencies
∎ Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
∎ Knowledge of Law, Legal Code, Government Regulations pertaining to oil and gas industry
∎ Skilled in networking and relationship building as a means of learning and influencing change
∎ Excellent negotiation skills to deal with stakeholders
