∎ To work with BRB Hospitals family members, we are looking for qualified, professional & experienced Senior Scientific Officer for Laboratory Medicine Department of the Hospital, whose responsibilities are as follows , but not limited to :
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plans and coordinates laboratory workflow, and serves as a technical specialist in Biochemistry and performs related duties as required.
∎ Check and Quality Control of all machine samples as well as reports.
∎ Performs specimen analysis and verifies, records and reports patient results in an accurate and efficient manner; serves as a technical expert in a specific area of expertise.
∎ Develops and implements appropriate quality controls, documentation of workload, and calibration and maintenance of equipment.
∎ Prepares and maintains a manual of standard procedures; maintains QA and QC records for assigned lab section to comply with State regulations; identifies training needs and conducts in-service training and education for staff.
∎ Check and maintain daily Stock Ledger for kits and reagent etc.
∎ Supervision of staffs performing different steps of laboratory test.
