Job Context:
∎ Work Location: IRC-Bangladesh, Ukhiya Office
∎ Reporting to: Senior Program Coordinator- Rohingya Response
∎ Department: Health
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest
∎ Contract length: 1 Year (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years work experience in a management or coordination role; and
∎ Proven experience in responding to health in emergencies / humanitarian crisis in refugee settings.
∎ Excellent project management and budget management skills. Experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure project delivery.
∎ Excellent emergency response planning and response management skills.
∎ Demonstrated experience in successfully leading, building and strengthening a program team in a dynamic, challenging and changing context.
∎ Demonstrated experience in supervising, mentoring and building capacity of national staff.
∎ Ability to deal with competing demands and requests; and to be innovative, flexible, and adaptive.
∎ Should be a great teammate with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion and diplomacy.
∎ Must adhere to confidentiality policies and codes of conduct.
∎ Must be computer literate (Word and Excel). Fluency in English
∎ Understanding of Rohyinga language an asset; and
∎ Preference will be given to those who are familiar and have worked in Rohingya Camps.
