Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
∎ Civil engineering graduate from public or private university with experience managing at least 2-3 large construction projects like Airport Runway Overlay/Runway construction works.
∎ Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
∎ Skills Required: Product Costing and budgeting, project coordination, Project Management, AutoCAD (2D/3D), MS Excel, Word

∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ We`re looking for Senior Pavement Engineer/Pavement Engineer with proven expertise in Runway Overlay/Runway construction works for the project of Asphalt Concrete Overlay on the Runway Surface.
∎ Job Location: Jashore Airport, Anywhere in Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating with cross-discipline team members (CAAB and others stakeholder) to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
∎ Assist with the project management and/or technical delivery of a variety of projects in the field of pavement engineering;
∎ Supporting in developing and enhancing client relationships with a number of public and private sector clients;
∎ Contribute to the delivery of consultancy projects;
∎ Promote pavement and asset management within Atkins;
∎ Comply with Quality, Safety and Environmental procedures to Atkins Business Management Systems;
∎ Deliver, and ensure the delivery of others' outputs to quality, programme and budget.
∎ Knowledge of pavement and geotechnical engineering demonstrated by experience of pavement design, investigation and research;
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of mechanistic pavement design methods as well as structural pavement models;
∎ Sound understanding of the principles and limitations of geotechnical ground condition, structural pavement analysis for both rigid (concrete) and flexible pavements;
∎ The use of analytical pavement design techniques including software packages such as BISAR, MODULUS-HA, ELMOD, RUBICON, PAVERS, cncPAVE;
∎ The specification, execution, analysis and interpretation of a comprehensive range of geotechnical and pavement investigation and evaluation techniques;
∎ Construction techniques and practices for new construction and maintenance works, including recycling;
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of pavement design principles (Flexible, Rigid and Composite Pavements);
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of earthworks and pavement materials (Concrete, Asphalt and Hydraulically Bound Materials);
∎ Performs other duties as assigned.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Airport Runway Overlay/Runway construction works, Project Budgeting, project coordination, Project Costing, Project Management, Project Planning Software: MS Projects/Primavera
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Engineering Firms/Construction farm
∎ Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
∎ Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
∎ Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
∎ Understanding of ERP implementation.
∎ Experience overseeing a construction project.
