Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining good communication with assigned law firms and other stakeholders and law enforcement agencies.
∎ Liaison with various Govt. and Non-Govt. Organizations.
∎ Draft and/or vet contracts, Agreements, MOUs, legal notices, replies, other notices, processes, trade letters, other letters, regulatory communications, other communications, etc. as and when required.
∎ Provide legal opinion to the company as and when required.
∎ Scrutinize legal documents and ensure that everything is in accordance with approved and prescribed formats.
∎ Ensure compliance with relevant laws and applicable guidelines at all times.
∎ Visit and complete tasks at different government offices.
∎ Manage and protect the Intellectual Property rights of the company.
∎ Liaise with external legal counsel as and when required.
∎ Responsibly conduct all assigned tasks in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the line manager/department head.
∎ Handling all litigations apart from regulatory ones, vetting the pleadings, and monitoring the case status.
∎ Anticipating and managing the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the strategy and operations.
∎ Doing the proper arrangement of withdrawing the case/suit after receiving approval from the Management
∎ Being well familiar with Subordinate Court, Metropolitan Magistrate Court, District & Sessions Court, High Court Division, and Appellate Division of Supreme Court.
∎ Liaise with local police and other law enforcement authorities to get updates on general dairies (GD) and other issues.

∎ Enrolment as an Advocate of the Bangladesh Bar Council will get preference.
