Educational Requirements:
∎ Business Graduate with major in Supply Chain/ B. Pharm from reputed University.
∎ Certification in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Define supply strategy based on competition, market dynamics/market survey and given forecast.
∎ Plan and make projection of inventory flow and manage inventory necessary to fulfill logical quantity sales forecasts within agreed inventory targets across supply chain.
∎ Leverage processes, ERP tools (Oracle/SAP) and professional supply planning techniques to achieve goals on KPIs, including order fulfillment rates, inventory turns, forecast accuracy and production schedule adherence.
∎ Monitor production schedules, and finished goods inventory levels to improve fulfillment of day of coverage to ensure customer satisfaction and enable quick and flexible response to logical changes in either supply or demand.
∎ Align with finance team or internal auditors for activity like stock counts and on time write off or write in of stocks.
∎ Set strategic contracts with CMOs (Toll sites) and strategic sourcing/development partners.
∎ Liaise with International marketing/Business developments functions towards establishing export business.
∎ Monitor and proactively manage supply chain constraints such as lead times, sourcing strategies, available capacity, and transportation.
∎ Trigger investment planning in context of capacity review of site and technology.
∎ Manage S&OP cycle meetings as per latest concept/applicable tools; involve top management in decision making.
∎ Support top management about unusual if any situation in the supply and demand operation. Review status of rejected, returned and near expiry goods.
∎ Develop a collaborative and consensus environment by establishing and maintaining supportive relationships with cross functional teams; Purchasing, Sourcing, Quality, Finance and Marketing to ensure effective communication of strategic and tactical issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Proven expertise in SCM function in reputed pharmaceutical company (experience on demand planning and inventory control would be considered added capability).
∎ Capability to manage diverse team applying leadership standards.
∎ Liaise with the customer /distributor abroad as part of complete supply networking.
∎ Hands on knowledge about the supply chain best practices and customer handling capability at home and abroad.
∎ Ability to train and motivate team towards achieving challenging goals.
