Job Responsibilities:
∎ Position description:
∎ The Alliance for Combating TB in Bangladesh project will develop a dynamic, strategic, and fresh approach to accelerate Bangladesh's fight against TB. The solutions will be aimed at creating an environment aligned with the universal health coverage (UHC) vision and focused on defined priority areas - increased TB detection, decentralized DR-TB management, child TB, expanded prevention and others.
∎ The Senior M & E Officer will report to the Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor. The position holder will be responsible for supporting and monitoring existing procedures including formats, record keeping systems which supports USAID's Alliance for Combating TB in Bangladesh Goal, Strategic Objectives and Intermediary Results; Coordinate the collection, compilation, consolidation and analysis of data to track ACTB activities at different levels of TB health care delivery system and provide feedback to the information feeders; Monitoring the activities of project implementing partners on a regular basis based on MEL Plan; Design database and analytical framework for analysis of information to assess progress of project; Provide technical support to partner organizations in M&E issues in consulting with the Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor; Provide suggestions based on field experience on M&E system for its effective implementation; Prepare case studies, qualitative and quantitative reports; And routine input, maintenance and updates of ACTB project documents (results framework, workplans, MEL Plan, ). There will be 1 position who will be based in Dhaka office. The position may require frequent travel to all other field sites and field offices in Bangladesh.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of experience in the domain of public health preferably in monitoring and evaluation.
Salary:
∎ Salary: Annual Tk. 800,800/- inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances and other admissible benefits.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Benefits/facilities: 14.8% provident fund contribution, income tax paid by icddr,b, children allowance @Tk.1,917/- per child per month, festival bonus, contributory healthcare support including dependent spouse and children, group life insurance and subsidized canteen. Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
