Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent must be a B. Sc Engineer in Mechanical from any reputed public university (BUET/KUET/RUET/CUET preferred) with at least 5 (five) years of practical experience in Maintenance.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Discharge all functions under direct control and supervision of the Departmental Head.
∎ Need to lead new project related activities in collaboration with departmental Head.
∎ Prepare Preventive Maintenance Schedule of Mechanical Installations of the Factory and ensure its implementation in due time. Assign and control responsibilities of subordinates discussing with superior.
∎ Supervise corrective maintenance activities of all mechanical equipment's of the Factory.
∎ Prepare spare parts requisition both local & foreign items and send the same to procurement department through proper channel and follow up the requisition status.
∎ Take steps to reduce machines breakdown due to mechanical faults.
∎ Take necessary action to keep functional other utilities item like substation, Generators, Boundary lights & Forklifts etc.
∎ Prepare daily maintenance report & keep records.
∎ Design necessary mechanical diagram for new machine and report to the superior.
∎ Keep liaison between Maintenance and Store department for spare parts and among Maintenance, Production, Quality Assurance and Administration department for maintenance work and Coordinate departmental activities with others.
∎ Prepare performance report of subordinates and submit it to superiors in time.
∎ Discharge ISO related activities as per QSP.
∎ Take steps to prepare and safe storage of all records of the department as per ISO Management System and deliver the same according to demand for higher authority.
∎ Discuss with superiors regarding important issues related to improvement of systems and operations of the department and seek opinion when needed.
∎ Lead to maintain fire hydrant system and detection system and their maintenance activities.
∎ Discharge such other functions as may be assigned to this post from time to time by higher authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 37 years
∎ MINUMUM 7-10 years working experience at reputed and fully-functioning factory.
∎ Must have a good knowledge about CNC, PLC, Inverter & Automation
∎ Candidates MUST be below 35 years of age.
∎ Must have leadership qualities, initiative, drive, self-motivation and capabilities to properly supervise activities of employees working under this post.
∎ Must be mentally and physically fit to work primarily on factory floor, this is not a desk job.
∎ Must have good command over both Bangla and English and also Auto CAD.
∎ Computer literacy and programming knowledge is essential.
∎ Requirements maybe relaxed in an exceptional cases.
