Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Sourcing material by visiting local market
∎ Analyzing the requirements and evaluate each & every alternative
∎ Ensuring proper documentation process
∎ Preparing competitive statement (CS)
∎ Preparing Purchase Order (PO)
∎ Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and develop strong partnerships
∎ Ensuring ongoing feasibility of existing suppliers
∎ Controlling the procurement budget
∎ Promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
∎ Communicating with Finance team regarding payment and financial issues
∎ Visiting market frequently
