Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in EEE
∎ Mandatory Training Course: 6-month training under Fire Service Civil Defense (FSCD) on "Fire Science and Occupation Safety"
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle designing and drafting of Fire Detection & Alarm System, Fire Standpipe and Hydrant & Sprinkler System.
∎ Should have knowledge about Should Have Good Knowledge for RMG Sustainable Council (RSC).
∎ Should have knowledge about NFPA, basic rule for fire safety Systems.
∎ Should have Clear knowledge on BNBC
∎ Should have well knowledge on Auto CAD 2D and 3D
∎ Ensure fire safety for the workplace & building;
∎ Daily fire equipment checks & maintains needful action;
∎ Monitor fire and safety systems including the protection and detection system of the organization;
∎ Look after and responsible for the repair and maintenance of the protection system of the factories (Fire Sprinkler system, Fire Standpipe system, Fire Pump, Portable Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lights & Exit Signs, Exhaust Fan & Fire Doors);
∎ Conduct fire drill monthly, emergency evacuation drills to aware employees of any emergency incident & regular/weekly fire training with the fire safety team & general workers;
∎ Guide modification, installation, maintenance and operation of fire protection systems;
∎ Train personnel on Fire Fighting, use of personal protective equipment on health & safety issues;
∎ Consult with authorities to discuss safety regulations and to recommend changes as necessary;
∎ Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on fire protection and time to time observe fire safety demonstrations;
∎ Maintain and monitor the maintenance of all firefighting equipment within the establishment including equipment replacement;
∎ Responsible for RSC and Nirapon-2.0 all types of requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in garments sector as Fire Safety Officer
∎ Excellent Knowledge of NFPA, BNBC, RSC & Nirapon-2.0 Standards.
∎ Must be proficient in English and Bengali writing, reading & speaking.
∎ Ability to work for a long duration in the factory premises on day to day basis.
