Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Micro-Biologist
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pharmaceuticals

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Skilled in microbiology techniques and equipment.
∎ Knowledge on different (Water, Environment, Raw, Bulk and Finished products etc.) microbiology sample collection.
∎ Theoretical Knowledge and practical work experience of laboratory tests used in microbiology work such as - Water test, Microbial Contamination Test (Bulk/Finished Products/ Raw and Packaging materials), Bacterial Endotoxins Test (Gel-Clot & Kinetic method), Microbiological Assay of Antibiotics, Identification of Microorganisms, Environment Monitoring: Air Borne Particle Count, Settle plate Count, Contact Plate, Rinse and Surface Swab, Air sampling and Personnel monitoring hygiene, Efficacy test of preservatives, Efficacy test of Disinfectants
∎ o Sterility Test: All Sterile Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and Finished products
∎ Should have in-depth knowledge on - Media preparation, Storage and Use, Growth Promotion Test, Reference culture maintenance.
∎ Knowledge on microbiological qualification works, such as - Clean room qualification, Cleaning validation, Qualification and maintenance of Laboratory instruments, Gowning/ Personnel qualification, Media simulation test
∎ Knowledge on functional operation of laboratory equipment/instruments -
∎ Incubators, Autoclave, Dry Heat Sterilizer, Depyrogenation oven/tunnel, Analytical balance, Spectrophotometer, pH meter, Microscopes, Microorganism Identification equipment, Zone reader, Kinetic analyzer, Particle counter, Air sampler, Nitrogen gas/Compressed air and Hot steam sampling devices/analyzer etc.
∎ Issues and maintains records/log books ensuring good documentation practices.
∎ Laboratory inventories, orders, receives of chemical and spare parts of equipment for laboratory use.
∎ Write, review and update Standard operating procedures, Standard test procedures, Microbiology Specification as per pharmacopeia, regulatory guidelines and industrial practices.
∎ Protocol preparation for validation, participation on validation activities and on time report generation/compilation.
∎ Ability to supervise and lead the microbiology team for smooth operation of microbiology lab.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Computer literacy in MS Office & Excel,
∎ Work experience both in sterile and non-sterile facilities.
∎ Ability to take challenges to establish the quality system.
∎ Experience on SAP/ERP system and other spreadsheet software data analysis.
∎ Strong personal & professional ethical values are essential.
∎ Candidates must possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills and Leadership Quality to lead the team successfully and achieve organisational goal.
