Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc)
∎ Post Graduate Study/Training in Therapeutic Diet would be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Counseling patients on the effects, and route of administration of their diet treatments, particularly those who require therapeutic diet.
∎ Participating in ward rounds, nutritional assessment, taking patient diet histories and contributing to the treatment decision-making process.
∎ Assist Dietetics and Nutrition In Charge In-Charge to organize, coordinate, supervise & manage all activities within the department.
∎ To ensure timely and appropriate cross functional support for each and every department in relations to the Dietetics and Nutrition service.
∎ Preparation of KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) & diet summery for all admitted patient according to their daily nutritional need.
∎ Monitoring the quality and quantity of therapeutic diet.
∎ Preparing enteral feeding prescription and arranging their delivery,
∎ Update patient detail sheet according to IHIS and diet request for form all the inpatients.
∎ Keeping up to date nutrition information with current practice, new diet protocols and their uses.
∎ Liaising & coordinating with doctors and other departments on issues related to nutrition service.
∎ Assist in the development & implementation of all Dietetics and Nutrition systems & to ensure that all staffs are familiar with the established systems, procedures & policies.
∎ Ensure regular diet checks are done to maintain the quality of nutritional health in the hospital.
∎ Keeping registers to maintain various data of patient’s nutritional service.
∎ Maintain a safe Dietetics and Nutrition Department by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
∎ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Excellent problem solving skill
∎ Proven ability to work independently and working together with other colleagues.
