Job Context:
∎ Assistance for Blind Children (ABC) is a national NGO working since 1978 with the motto, ‘A future for every blind child, give sight back to those who can recover it and dignity to those who cannot’. ABC is a non-profit making organization and is registered as a non-government organization with the Department of Social Services) and NGO Affairs Bureau) of the Government of Bangladesh. ABC has been working for Awareness building, Blindness Prevention, Treatment, Education, Training & Socio-economic rehabilitation of visually impaired children and youth since its inception for the development of blind children & youth in Bangladesh. ABC has been running two eye hospitals for a long time. One eye hospital at Salna Gazipur (From Gazipur Chowrasta 2 kilometers towards Mymensingh). ABC is looking for a Senior Consultant & Surgeon (Ophthalmology) for this Hospital.
∎ Job Location : Salna, Gazipur (2 kilometers towards Mymensingh from Gazipur Chowrasta)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proficiency in Major Ophthalmic Surgeries (Phaco, SICS, DCR etc.)
∎ Provide eye care treatment and different investigations of eye diseases.
∎ Ensure quality of eye care services and train technical staff.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years in Major Ophthalmic Surgery.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
