Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree from any reputed public or private university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Footwear, Manufacturing (FMCG)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes.
∎ Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects (mechanical, electrical, chemical & fire) of operations.
∎ Auditing production, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations.
∎ Make, implement & ensure mechanical, electrical, chemical & fire safety related policies, procedures, SOP.
∎ Give proper safety training to the concern employees, staffs and officers on mechanical, electrical, chemical and fire safety.
∎ Take a periodical assessment on all safety related issues, production process within the entire factory & do proper and on time corrective action to ensure safety.
∎ Proactively manage all related Health & Safety issues to make & sustain the industry risk free in all aspect.
∎ Participating in continuing education to update knowledge of Health and Safety protocols and processes.
∎ Give proper & proactive guideline to the respective people are engaged to use safety equipment to make the factory safe & secure all the time.
∎ Ensure a full functional and effective mechanical safety, electrical safety, chemical & fire safety management system within the entire facility.
∎ Understand, implement, monitor & control mechanical, electrical, chemical & fire Safety related all requirements as per various national & international law, customers’ COC.
∎ Keep and maintain safety related register/ check list with regular routine check and update.
∎ Initiate weekly, bi-monthly risk assessment/ audit at factory premises, keep records and update superiors.
∎ Investigating causes of accidents, injuries and other unsafe conditions (if any) on the job site.
∎ Maintain, control & monitor Health & Safety Committee with regular meeting by keeping records.
∎ Meeting company’s Health and Safety goals.
∎ Perform other duties as and when assigned by the superior(s).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ EHS related practical experiences will get preference.
∎ Self-motivated, responsible and goal oriented.
∎ Should be a team player having good interpersonal skills.
∎ Strong communication abilities in Bangla and English both oral and written.
∎ Computer literacy is must, especially in office package.
∎ Should keep mentality to do shifting duty (if any).
∎ Should have positive and flexible attitude.
