Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure diagnostic and clinical services according to medical norms, practices and organizational policies.
∎ Provide primary health care services following the standard protocols to out patient department (OPD) and in-patient department (IPD) patients.
∎ Assist the surgeons in C/S or other obstetric emergency OT, labor room and maternity.
∎ Ensure availability of consultant/surgeon/anesthetist when necessary for rendering OT services.
∎ Check OT documents and write pre- and post-operative orders.
∎ Ensure patient support in IPC unit.
∎ Attend for the morning, evening and night hospital rounds.
∎ To follow up and update medication list regularly in writing.
∎ Ensure referral of critical patients to specialized physicians or hospitals.
∎ Prepare discharge papers, blood requisition orders, investigation orders (if needed).
∎ To attend any emergency patient in need of treatment.
∎ Management of health care centers and harmonization of service points within the health care center for which he/she is responsible.
∎ Supervise and provide technical support to medical assistant/nurse/midwives and counselors.
∎ Responsible to conduct necessary training for nurses, counselors and allied health care workers - first aid training, health & safety training, etc.
∎ Daily reporting on service coverage and drug dispensing.
∎ Ensure overall health & safety issues within the center.
∎ Overall supervising of night staff at hospital.
