Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in Public Health (MPH) in any discipline.

∎ MBBS/ BDS from a reputed Medical College recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council with completion of one-year internship training

Experience Requirements:

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): public health
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Research Organization

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The trainee is expected to learn through assisting:
∎ The Supervisor and Principal Investigator (PI) in research proposal and protocol development and finalization;
∎ In creating detailed project plan covering milestones, deliverables etc.;
∎ In resource allocation and trainings for execution of the project;
∎ In deploying data collection methods (e.g., identify target group, gain consensus, administer survey, etc.);
∎ In visiting and monitoring the progress of research and fieldwork with the team;
∎ In data management and scientific analysis and derive implications for public health;
∎ In sharing the initial findings with PI and seek inputs;
∎ In preparing manuscript/research report with support from supervisor for publication in international peer-reviewed journals;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Core Competencies:
∎ Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills;
∎ Demonstrated leadership ability and team management;
∎ Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills;
∎ Fluency in English and proficiency in Bangla;
∎ Adequate knowledge on Data collection methods
∎ Excellent knowledge on ethical guidelines
∎ Primary knowledge on research methodologies and designs
∎ Excellent knowledge in IT services, systems and applications
∎ Ability of Scientific Writing and Publication
∎ Good knowledge on data analytical capacity using SPSS statistical packages
∎ Ability to examine data and interpret results

Salary:
∎ Duration: Duration of traineeship is for three (03) months. However, there is a scope of integration of the candidate into the core team depending on his/her satisfactory performance. Stipend: Provision of a monthly stipend for the selected candidate will be available.
