Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and conduct experiments to develop new chemical products and processes.
∎ Improve existing products by optimizing formulations and processes.
∎ Analyze experimental data using statistical and analytical techniques.
∎ Interpret results and draw conclusions to guide product development.
∎ Maintain detailed records of research activities, including experimental procedures and results.
∎ Prepare technical reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
∎ Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve research objectives.
∎ Present research findings to internal teams and external partners.
∎ Identify and address technical challenges in product development.
∎ Stay current with scientific literature and industry trends to drive innovation.
∎ Ensure all research activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
∎ Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions as needed.
∎ Plan and manage R&D projects, including setting timelines and budgets.

∎ Train staff on the proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
∎ Conduct safety training sessions and emergency response drills.
∎ Conduct risk assessments for chemical processes and procedures.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to mitigate chemical hazards.
∎ Respond to chemical spills or accidents and lead emergency response efforts.
∎ Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, inventory, and safety audits.
∎ Prepare reports for regulatory agencies and management as required.
∎ Ensure all safety data sheets (SDS) are up-to-date and accessible.
∎ Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
∎ Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents and solutions.
∎ Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions.
∎ Collect, label, and process samples according to standard protocols.
∎ Ensure proper storage and disposal of samples.
