Educational Requirements:
∎ FCPS in Opthalmology/ Diploma also preferable
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Must Have Valid BMDC Registration

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ophthalmology out patient department (OPD)-management
∎ Managed cases at OPD when patients were examined, investigated and treatment provided.
∎ Performing different type of ophthalmic investigations such as Biometry, Keratometry, Visual Field Analysis , Slit Lamp Biomicroscopy etc.
∎ Cases were managed at OPD level with minor ophthalmology procedure like foreign body removal, syringing , epilation of cilia with Topical anaesthesia.
∎ Cases were admitted under different Consultants to be managed as IPD cases. Of them had operative management of different natures.
∎ Assisted different major and minor ophthalmic surgeries like cataract surgery with pc iol implantation, Trabeculectomy, DCR, DCT, Chalazion operation etc. (Capable of performing minor surgeries and few major surgeries independently)
∎ Emergency cases
∎ Attending all emergency cases when called for and managing them properly
