∎ Must have experience in hospital or relevant field. Must have computer typing skill and RCO Certificate.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Context:
∎ Kingston Hospital is looking for some self-motivated, competent and dynamic personnel int following position.
∎
∎ Radiographer duty & responsibility:
∎ Verify name with documents or paper of patient & explains the procedure.
∎ Explains procedures, assists and transfers patient to table, positions patient's body for accurate images and assists patient at end of procedure.
∎ Observes patient and equipment during procedures and reports unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.
∎ Performs quality control activities to ensure optimal quality radiographs.
∎ Perform X-rays and deliver to right patient.
∎ Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
∎ Prepare report as per doctors' instruction & deliver to Report delivery section/doctors on duty.
∎ Prepare Patient for x-ray with proper counseling and position.
∎ Maintain sterility & cleanliness of X-Ray Lab & Dark room.
∎ Maintain & monitor infection prevention procedures as per protocol and follow infection control and safety guidelines.
∎ Informing Hospital Manager/line manager about any problem regarding the equipment.
∎ Collect and keep records of all cases and analyses those data and use them for prearrangement or procurement of special care facilities including expensive drugs and/or surgical interventions.
∎ Must be flexible to cover a variety of shifts with weekend, holiday and non-restricted call duties required as needed.
