Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Estimate and manage project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment required for the highway construction of the district projects.
∎ Prepare and analyze cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
∎ Conduct regular site visits to assess quantities and costs of materials and labor, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
∎ Collaborate with the Project Manager and procurement team to source materials and negotiate prices with suppliers.
∎ Provide cost advice and support throughout the project lifecycle, helping to control expenditures.
