Fuel/Petroleum, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.), Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Multinational Companies, Power
Job Responsibilities:
∎ All site personnel to comply with Company QHSE policies and procedures on site.
∎ Strictly maintain Company's PPE Policy on site.
∎ Liaises with local security to ensure that all personnel on site are attired in the required PPE before entering the site.
∎ Conducts site inductions for all Third Party Contractors, and visitors and document it accordingly.
∎ Conducts weekly vehicle checks in line with BOP 09 and informs the Management of any potentially hazardous issues relating to them.
∎ Ensures accurate reports (near misses, personal injury, and vehicle incident reports, QHSE monthly synopsis) are prepared and submitted to the relevant personnel as and when required.
∎ To chair weekly safety meetings as per QHSE Standards and document accordingly.
∎ Plans weekly safety material in line with the safety material provided by the Regional QHSE Manager.
∎ Liases with all personnel on site who were not present at the safety meeting and presents the safety material to them, and documents accordingly.
∎ Encourages Third-Party Personnel to submit and fill in fuel spill reports, near miss and accident reports.
∎ To liaise with the Site Management over the closure of any open near misses.
∎ Maintains good working relationship with all site personnel.
∎ To attend the daily meetings of site engineers and relay any relevant safety information to the Third-Party employees who are not present. (This includes service team, fuel operators and cleaners)
∎ Organises requisitions together with the Site Supervisor for any Third Party Contractor PPE requirements.
∎ Reports functionally to the OS with respect to safety related issues.
∎ To Check all Fire Extinguishers, First Aid Boxes and Eye Wash Stations and document accordingly.
∎ To ensure that the hazardous waste and used oil areas are clean and tidy at all times and free from debris.
∎ To ensure the Alternator Rewind Facility is clean and tidy and free from debris.
∎ To ensure that there is appropriate safety signage around the whole site together with Bengali Translation for the local workforce.
∎ To positively encourage Company's QHSE and safe practises amongst all site personnel.
∎ Promotes feedback through the Continuous Improvement Program
