Educational Requirements:
∎ BSC/MSC. Engineer in Mechanical from any reputed Institute.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare design & drawing for heating, ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems
∎ Coordinate with Client and other engineering departments to solve and avoid design conflicts.
∎ Proficiency in AutoCAD and similar drafting software
∎ Assists the contract manager in providing effective support to project management teams by ensuring that the contracts are administered in accordance with contractual obligations and effective cost management strategies;
∎ Carries out pre-tender activities in the award of trade packages by conducting site show round and ensuring the completeness of tender drawings/documents;
∎ Seeks clarifications with the respective consultants regarding discrepancies in the scope of work and drawings; replace all addendum drawings and BQ pages after clarifications;
∎ Seeks quotation from the respective trades and follows up on submission of quotations;
∎ Takes up quantity as per BQ and the detailed breakdown in the Excel sheet;
∎ Reviews tender pricing with contract manager; understands the project schedule, profit margin and goodwill discount; attends tender interviews; goes through tender reply with contract manager and prepares reply accordingly;
∎ Reviews letter of appointments, contract drawings and documents and to highlight any deviation from the tender;
∎ Attends project kick off meetings and brief the scope of works with project team and management;
∎ Attends consultant meeting with Project Manager;
∎ Negotiates with the respective supplier and appoints the specialist sub-
∎ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications
∎ Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
∎ May prepare work estimates for clients.
∎ Conduct the chilled water pipes works pressure test and keep records.
∎ Assist drafters to prepare as-built drawings.
∎ Update and verify as built drawings.
∎ Conduct the installation inspection with final approve drawings
∎ Prepare the progress claim and submit to main contractor.
∎ Tendering knowledges
∎ Materials and pipe fitting and equipment price knowledge
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working knowledge of MS Office skill(MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook w/ scheduling capability.
∎ Knowledge of Email Correspondence
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 60000 (Monthly)
