Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate possess at Naval Architect / B.Sc./ Masters in any discipline or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Logistics Support Engineer will have experience in Freight Forwarding, Cargo Movements, Receipt and Dispatch Operations, Offshore Operations, Health and Safety, Warehousing, Port Operations, Materials Management, Yard Operations, Multi Site Operations and not limited to following;
∎ Identify shipping and logistic support agent and engage same as necessary for personnel clearance, materials import export, Barges and Vessels import export, application and compliance of local laws and government permits
∎ Establish temporary logistics base near the area of offshore operations and checking shipping document.
∎ Liaise with Onshore and Offshore teams for acknowledgement with project people and C & F.
∎ Liaise with shipping agents, port authorities, project and site personnel to ensure that crew / supply boat turnaround was achieved in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
∎ Meet with shipping agents and ensure that the coordination team is always kept abreast of ever-changing local laws
∎ Improve coordination practices to minimize air and seaport services downtime
∎ Co-ordinate with Project teams and Operations/Installation Manager to ensure timely scheduling of Vessels, personnel and materials movements
∎ Create SOP's and improve the existing ones, with close follow up on the implementation in order to strengthen the systematic control
∎ Manage/ Monitor the movement of shipments in and out of the country in accordance with the organizational policy and procedure, and complying with relevant local and international laws.
∎ Stay in Jobsite and follow up unloading operation and cargo received in proper condition.
∎ Reporting of cargo situation to Higher Authorities.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Logistics support, Naval Logistics Shipping
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) Companies
∎ At least 1- 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field, especially in logistics & Shipping, is required for this position.
∎ Good communication skill in English both Writing & Speaking.
