Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strong communication with Upazila Health Complex, Community Clinic and others Health Service Center to ensuring Health service of survivors
∎ Strong communication and coordination with Health Service Provider (Govt and NGOs) to ensuring Health service for survivors
∎ Technical Quality Reinforce adherence to the GBV guiding principles and women-, girl- and survivor centered support
∎ Ensure support for prevention of women and adolescent girls, including psychological first aid (PFA), safe referrals and information sharing, adheres to best-practice principles when working with women and girl survivors of GBV
∎ Align with internal and inter-agency Protection against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policies and procedures, reporting SEA through the specified mechanisms
∎ Provide continuous technical support to project staff on Health Management for vulnerable women and girls
∎ Extract, analyze, and manipulate data from the Health Management system for the purpose of presenting it to senior management.
∎ Staff Supervision and Development:
∎ Directly supervise, and provide ongoing mentoring and support to the community mobilizer (health) as they provide services to women and girls. This will include: survivor-centered PFA, referrals, information sharing on services and support, service mapping and service quality audits when not deployed to an emergency to ensure accurate information.
∎ Hold daily planning and debriefing sessions community mobilizer (health) in particular to gain learning and feedback from the health team.
∎ Mentor and support staff professional development and foster a positive team spirit to encourage innovative and quality programming
∎ Identify training needs for the health team and project staff and support the organization and facilitation of training to meet those needs, in collaboration with the Project Coordinator/Upazila Manager
∎ Implementation:
∎ Work closely with health staff to design activities that prevention to needs and priorities identified by women and adolescent girls
∎ Prepare and maintain/update detailed work plan(s) that support and achieve activities
∎ Develop and support the implementation of service mapping and service quality audits
∎ Conduct regular field visits to support the implementation of activities with health staff giving supportive feedback and guidance as part of the mentoring process
∎ Give guidance to the health staff in making safe, confidential and timely referrals to services in line with the health service center principles
∎ Ensure the whole team is adhering the formal health referral pathways and are providing feedback to you on the functioning of this for action and forwarding to the Project Coordinator/Upazila Manager
∎ Ensure quality referrals between the health team, Emergency Health Service confidential and safe support to women and girl survivors of health according to the internal referral procedures
∎ Monitoring, Reporting & Administrative Support:
∎ Ensure that all data collection (paper and electronic) reporting tools are used accurately on every day, and are then provided on schedule to relevant staff (i.e. MEAL Officer)
∎ Monitor daily/weekly data collection to ensure that the data is managed in safe and ethical ways
∎ Prepare and submit weekly and monthly work plans in a timely manner, and incorporate supervisor feedback as requested
∎ Compile weekly data and narrative activity report for submission
∎ Ensure that all relevant financial, supply chain, human resources and other administrative documentation is accurately completed and submitted
∎ Coordination & Representation:
∎ Identify concerns related to and support adherence to health referral protocols by all relevant organizations and agencies; report up to the Project Coordinator/ Upazila Manager
∎ Maintain effective working relationships with relevant partners including community-based protection mechanisms and other service providers (in particular the Emergency Health Response Units) to work collaboratively for a quality survivor-centered response
∎ Represent the YPSA Health team in host committee coordination forums, giving updates on Health activities, wider guidance on survivor-centered approaches and advocating for the safety and well-being needs of women and girls in the response
∎ Deliverables:

∎ Sessions with adolescent group on ASRH
∎ Parents/Caregiver Meeting on ARHR
∎ Orientation to CSO members on SRH of adolescents
∎ Meeting with local government officials at Upazila and district level (upazila health and family planning officer (UH&FPO), upazila family planning officer, Civil surgeon and Deputy Director of Family Planning, FWV, SACMO, CHCP) on referrals
∎ Establish of Adolescent Friendly Health Service Corner
∎ Monthly meeting with CG and UH&FWC committee members

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4-5 years of experience needed in the field of public health Service.
∎ Professional experience in counselling and implementing health activities for women and girls or proven engagement in women's rights
∎ Competencies: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
∎ 3-5 years' management experience in public health service
∎ Excellent command of spoken and Written in English
∎ Comfortable with different working and program needs in health service as well as development environments.
∎ Diplomacy skills is required given the need for a strong focus on meetings and relationship building with local government, multilateral organizations, donors, and other NGOs.
∎ Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
∎ Ability to work with a reasonable level of comfort in high tension and high security risk situations
∎ Strong knowledge on negotiation and persuasion skills in seeking funding commitments from donors, special arrangements and concessions from local governments
∎ Ability to adjust to harsh living conditions.

∎ Positive and professional attitude, including ability to lead and work well in a team setting and be a good manager
∎ Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients all times is essential
∎ Experience facilitating trainings and workshops and mentoring others

Salary: Tk. 49116 (Monthly)
