∎ Superior: General Manager Sika Bangladesh, Operations Head South Asia
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with Sika project managers and project management company to execute the project activities at site
∎ Schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate IT tools.
∎ Co-ordinate with finance and legal functions for drafting agreements with external vendors.
∎ Develop CAPEX document with justification and supporting requirements
∎ Prepare projects report; define project scope, goals and deliverables
∎ Procurement, controlling and reporting support related to the project
∎ Coordination between SIKA, PMC and contractors at site
∎ Coordination with external Sika entities for activities related to project implementation
∎ Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
∎ Act as owner’s representative for activities related to permitting and licensing related to the project, closely monitor deliverables by every agency involved in the project
∎ Upon completion of the project, get the project completion certificate from the consultants or Contractors
∎ Verify, approve and submit the third-party bills to Finance for payment
∎ Resolve technical issues on behalf of Sika Bangladesh in coordination with PMC and Sika project managers
∎ Assist purchasing function in making technical assessment for purchase orders & for scheduling material requirement as needed
∎ Support preparation of steering committee meeting documentation
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years of experience in chemical industry with focus on project management
∎ Familiarity of equipment used in construction chemicals industry
