∎ We at Hifab International are looking for a "Project Manager" to join our team of winners. The role will entail high levels of responsibility with good career opportunities. As our project manager, you will be link between the client, project team and Hifab.
∎ To efficiently manage the projects we are implementing, you as our Project Manager will:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Obtain knowledge about the projects technically, financially and administratively
∎ Build up and maintain a good working relationship with our clients and project partners
∎ Contract experts and partners to the projects
∎ Manage and support the project team
∎ Monitor, review and control the project progress technically and financially and advise on measures to be taken to optimise technical and financial objectives
∎ Have good knowledge of Project Cycle Management (PCM) based on Log Frame Approach
∎ Defend the interests of Hifab to achieve the project objectives with the right quality and the right budget in time
∎ Make a risk assessment for the projects on a regular basis
∎ Prepare monthly reports on project progress, challenges as well as actions to be taken for the coming period.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years working experience as project manager from the power sector - preferably from Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) - or equivalent work experience.
∎ IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS FOR THIS POSITION:

∎ Ability to work independently and flexibly
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Hifab in Bangladesh
Hifab International is celebrating its 30 years presence in Bangladesh. Hifab`s involvement in Bangladesh began in 1987 with the Rural Employment Sector Programme (RESP) project. Hifab became one of the first consulting companies working with Sida (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) on projects not only aiming at delivering physical output, but rather considering the whole spectra of participants in a development process and the social impact of the development efforts. Since then Hifab International has had a continuous presence in the country and has thus gained an experience and understanding of Bangladesh and its society second to none. Many of its permanent staff-members have worked and lived in Bangladesh for extended periods of time.
Our reference list in Bangladesh includes more than 30 projects. Through the years, from 1987 to date, Hifab has maintained its presence and good relations in Bangladesh by providing support to various development cooperation projects.
