∎ Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Shahjalal University of Science & Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
∎ Skills Required: Reporting and Documentation, Data Analysis, GIS, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, Surveying
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Community Engagement , Disaster Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Flood Risk Management, Forecasting and Early Warning System, Hydrology, Resilience, Water Resources Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support Development of Decision Support System, Forecasting and Dissemination Tools
∎ Assist in Developing Training Manuals and Plans
∎ Conduct training for relevant stakeholders and community members
∎ Monitor Topographic and Social Survey, data processing
∎ Progress monitoring, evaluation, early warning system audit and assessment,
∎ Prepare progress reports, assist in preparing annual reports and other IEC materials
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the program lead

The Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System for Africa and Asia (RIMES) is an international and intergovernmental institution, owned and managed by its Member States, for the generation and application of early warning information. RIMES evolved from the efforts of countries in Africa and Asia, in the aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, to establish a regional early warning system within a multi-hazard framework for the generation and communication of early warning information, and capacity building for preparedness and response to trans-boundary hazards. RIMES was established on 30 April 2009, and was registered with the United Nations on 1 July 2009. RIMES operates from its regional early warning center located at the campus of the Asian Institute of Technology in Pathumthani, Thailand.
