∎ YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) www.ypsa.org is an organization for sustainable development working in greater Chattogram division since 1985 with a vision to build a society without poverty where everyone’s basic needs and rights are ensured. YPSA is implementing a 24 months (1 December, 2019 to 30 November, 2021) project titled “Addressing the rights and needs of climate forced displaced people in South-Eastern Coast of Bangladesh” in Banskhali of Chattogram and Kutubdia of Cox’s Bazar District with the support from Climate Justice Resilience Fund.
∎ YPSA invites application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the following position for its Project.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop project related housing construction plans, budget and implementation guideline
∎ Facilitate the construction process with the relevant vendors
∎ Regular Monitoring and Supervision of Construction work
∎ Ensure the quality of construction as per design and within the time line
∎ Facilitate and ensure all logistics related to the construction
∎ Regular and final reporting of construction work
∎ Maintain linkage with relevant Government departments, NGOs, civil society and other stakeholders
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years experiences in the development field along with experience in relevant field.
∎ Sound knowledge of civil construction and design
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision making skills
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, partners, external actors and allies
∎ Good communication skills including written and spoken English
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (relevant civil drawing software, MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Salary:
∎ Tk. 40032 (Monthly)
∎ Monthly consolidated salary BDT 40,032/- (with other admissible benefit such as Festival Bonus, Provident Fund)
