Job Responsibilities:
∎ To carryout process improvement and operations optimization.
∎ The position demands good & sound engineering knowledge to supervise/ coordinate independently various activities such as design/ detailing for estimation of proposal/ production order, coordinate with Design Engineers for Steel, BOQ, RCC & Foundation Design and total work planning.
∎ To take special eye on safety regulation, legal stipulations, the environment considerations and quality. Besides, must comply with AISC, ASTM, AWS, MBMA, JIS & BNBC Codes.
∎ Be responsible to supervise the work of all the design engineers working and delegating works to draftsmen and proof-checking, resulting drawings in the Design Section of MSBPL. Also responding to fabrication & erection queries as and when required.
∎ Distribute the work among team & keep records.
∎ Train their team on updated design methods; improve the core skills of the team by holding regular classes and evaluations.
∎ Should be able to market to foreign and local clients, as and when required.
∎ Preparation of master work program using MS project.
∎ Preparation of Budget and Submission of cash flow chart for approval.
∎ Formation of construction team to start construction work.
∎ Preparation of method statement of all construction works.
∎ Manage project activities like execution, Micro Scheduling & planning as per the Master Plan.
∎ Enforce physical controls; contracts control provisions in line with the method statements and other systems and procedures of the company.
∎ Review and interpret proposed designs, architecture drawings & building specifications and ensure execution of the project as designed and planned.
∎ Coordinate with Internal and local architects, structural consultants for designs clarification if required.
∎ Coordinate with contractors for execution of the projects, on a proactive basis.
∎ Ensure proper planning of the execution activities in line with the construction strategy, timely execution and finishing of all services activities like HVAC, plumbing etc.
∎ To ensure that all indents for procurement of materials are in conformity both in respect of desired quality & quantity of works that are actually required as per works program for the month.
∎ Having knowledge on Auto CAD, MS Office, MS Project, IPC etc. To ensure that all the logistic support i.e. materials including drawings, designs, detailing are available on demand at the site.
∎ To prepare construction progress report & submit to appropriate higher authority from time to time.
∎ To Check bill of the contractors & ensure payment accordingly.
∎ To ensure safety and security of man and materials, equipment and other assets of the company allotted for the project.
∎ To maintain cost control by monitoring monthly actual expenditure with actual works done.
∎ Monitor the progress of the Project and discuss with the Project Manager to take corrective Tracking and analyzing project performance and cost performance. Should be able to suggest how to improve.
∎ Any other assignment/job not detailed herein & felt conductive by Management as and when necessary.

Salary: Tk. 70000 - 90000 (Monthly)
