∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any reputed public/private universities (BUET, CUET, RUET, KUET, IUT, AUST etc. will be given preference)

Job Context:
∎ Designation - Project Engineer
∎ Department - Project Coordination - Head Offices
∎ Type of Employment - Permanent

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receiving Bills from sites, recording dates of receiving in register.
∎ Checking each kind of bill with its Work Order/Agreement for compliance of all necessary terms and conditions.
∎ Checking following for each kind of bill: billing period, billing sequence, bill type, arithmetic of items and their take-off sheets, matching item wise unit rates with relevant work order, deductible items and whether those deductions made etc. as per billing checklists.
∎ Entering billed data in computer category wise to find probable payment date (as per Bill Tracking Template).
∎ Physical checking at sites when required.
∎ Re-entering corrected figures received from sites.
∎ Keeping scanned copies of all checked bills prior to send to Accounts and Audit Depts.
∎ Following up with Accounts and Audit Departments for timely payment of the bills.
∎ Debit Note: - To ensure recovery against the rework / faulty work from the contractors as per recommendation from site.
∎ Advance Adjustment: - Adjusting Advances on pro rata basis as per the contract terms & keeping the record of the same.
∎ Getting the Bill authorized and forwarding the same to accounts for payments.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1-3 Years of experience in the construction of residential and commercial buildings in the concerned industry
∎ Proficiency in using AutoCAD
