Job Responsibilities:
∎ BAIUST solicits applications for the post of a Project Engineer. The Candidate will be responsible for the following:
∎ Prepare tender documents, schedules, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
∎ Prepare and execute policies/guidelines for assigned projects.
∎ Estimate materials as per requisition in accordance with project budget.
∎ Prepare comparative statements of actual works done against planned projects and ensure actions to maintain the work schedule.
∎ Supervise the construction works of assigned Projects.
∎ Ensure compliance of applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications of construction works.
∎ Processing/vetting of all bills related to project/maintenance works of the University.
∎ Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
∎ Arrange & attend meeting with contractors & site personnel to identify issues hampering project progress and take remedial measures to improve the project progress and work quality.
∎ Raise & discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings, Prepare & issue minutes of all site meetings.
∎ Communicate with external Consultant, in-house design team for smooth drawing support to the project.
∎ Any others tasks as assigned by the Authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of practical experiences in the relevant field.
∎ Should have experience of completing one/two big project.
∎ Strong Project Management Skills desirable.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Sound Knowledge in MS Project & Auto CAD.
