Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc Engineering (Civil)/ Diploma in Engineering (Civil).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent position will report to an expatriate Engineer while performing his job. Should have good experience of working in big real estate preferably mixed-use projects.
∎ His Areas of work will encompass:
∎ RCC works & Plain Cement Concrete works.
∎ Masonry & Plastering.
∎ Filling, all kind of concrete flooring.
∎ Waterproofing & Expansion Joint.
∎ MS Fabrication and erection works including Painting, Deck Sheet.
∎ MS Railing.
∎ Chemical treatment viz. Anti-termite treatment, other construction chemical treatment as necessary.
∎ External development works such as paver block, earthwork, & associated works.
∎ Prepare Daily Reports, Weekly Reports
∎ Prepare Minutes of Meeting with civil vendors, correspondences with vendors in form of letters, emails, etc.
∎ Study the drawings and raise RFI, and get clarifications from consultants
∎ Certification of work conforming drawings, BOQ and Technical specifications
∎ Ability to evaluate technical interface i.e., match the Structure drawings with Architecture, Façade, MEP drawings and envisage clashes, provisions (cut outs, openings, pockets, inserts) etc.,
∎ Certification of measurements as per codal provisions, and preparations of abstracts and top sheets of running account bill, certification of Bar bending schedule
∎ Implementation of quality tools like Pour card, checklists & raise observations of quality issues
∎ Material indenting of construction materials of civil items
∎ Working out requirement of labor, plant & machineries of civil work as per productivity norms or experience
∎ Basic idea on cost like market prices and rate analysis
∎ Planning of day to day works, work sequence with vendor, site logistics like construction water, power, material unloading, material shifting etc.
∎ Envisage bottlenecks, give solution by own or escalate to Seniors, Consultant wherever necessary
∎ Idea on basic testing required like MTC, slump, cube, compressive strength, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Computer Literacy: Should have proficiency in auto-cad MS Word, MS excel, emails.
∎ 8-10 years' experience in Civil Constructions works.
∎ 12-13 Years' experience (Applicable for Diploma Degree holders Only).
∎ Having positive attitude to work with expatriate.
∎ Ability to delegate & get work done by team members.
∎ The incumbent must be a team player.
∎ Must be well conversant & having clarity in communication.
