Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical Engineering

Planning and monitoring, Production Process
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Manufacturing (FMCG)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and monitor the whole process, schedule, priorities of production in the responsible area and respond to various alarms (e.g. product performance on site, quality report from lab, quality control department) by effective corrective actions.
∎ Set and continuously update production schedules and regulate work flow to ensure maximum use of machinery/equipment capacity and utility supply at minimum costs and fulfill daily/ weekly/ monthly production plan, including trial production.
∎ Interface with maintenance/ repairing engineering personnel to expedite correction of non-conformances to prevent and minimize the interruption of engineering malfunctioning.
∎ Timely resolve regular and minor problems onsite when accident happens. Report to supervisor major problems and, if time allows, take corrective action after approval is obtained.
∎ Manage the dispersal and distribution of material for production, including a smooth communication flow between the production and material function to ensure the schedules, quality and quantity of current and planned production.
∎ Make suggestion and recommendations for control over transportation, shipping, receiving, material handling, warehousing and inventory to contribute to an efficient production cycle.
∎ According to plant quality policy and product specifications, carry out quality control and housekeeping by checking the production procedures and the use of equipment and materials, initiate daily product inspections in various stages of production to ensure the quality of the products.
∎ According to the reporting system of the production line, keep the records of production data, orders of production, requirements of quality control, etc. and file in the department as reference for future review. Raise relevant report to the supervisor daily/weekly/monthly.
∎ Ensure the hand-over of appropriate records to the next shift supervisor.
∎ According to corporate, company and statutory EHS requirements, implement the relevant safety and environment protection policies and procedures, including enforcing the observation of all company's operations, safety, ecology and housekeeping guidelines to maintain a working environment that supports work safety and production activities.
∎ Advise the technical / skills needed for the production training including operation and safety training to subordinates.
∎ Allocate and distribute job duties to subordinates. Review their performance and measure their discipline.
∎ Any other job assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Must be pro-active, self motivated.
∎ Creative and excellent job knowledge.
∎ Good knowledge on Computer literacy.
∎ Very good leadership quality.
∎ Very good in team work.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Must stay at factory premises or near factory/plant.
