Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a reputed institution/ Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
∎ Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in the retail industry, FMCG, or Group of Companies.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop strategic plans through business analysis and new innovative ideas for category growth.
∎ New products sourcing, selecting, and negotiating for the best purchase in terms of quality, price, and terms & conditions.
∎ Market survey ability.
∎ Physically product purchase capability.
∎ Determine product pricing by utilizing market research.
∎ Developing professional and technical knowledge by closely working with manufacturers and training salespeople.
∎ Prepare a strategy and develop an overall action plan for the each category to achieve the target.
∎ Assortment optimization.
∎ Close monitoring of item-by-item in-depth sales and profitability.
∎ Negotiate with stakeholders to increase margins through a more profitable pricing strategy & volume target.
∎ Initiate merchandising plan with comprehensive clustering, space planning, and assortment.
∎ Drive more effective promotions for increasing sales and profit margin with demand forecasting to meet financial goals.
∎ Initiative to increase sell outlet-wise existing slow-moving, over stock or near-expiry products through discount
∎ offers or activation.
∎ Well conversant with VAT, AIT & other Tax relating to purchase/ issue purchase orders.
∎ Any other task as and when assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience working with a large number of suppliers/ vendors, and expert negotiators.
∎ Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills to work with external and internal stakeholders.
∎ Enjoy working in a collaborative, changing, and fast-paced environment.
∎ Clear understanding of local & imported products pricing & promotion, retail assortment planning, and merchandising.
∎ Clear understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics management processes.
∎ Required Skills: Strong analytical skills, Problem Solving & Solution oriented, Customer-centric, Goal oriented &
∎ Aggressive, Enthusiastic, Committed, Empathetic, Strong work ethics.
