Education:
∎ Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Supply Chain Management
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
∎ PGD in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or experience in aviation procurement will be given preference.
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for the procurement of Aircraft Parts, components, materials, special tools & equipment, ground support equipment from various OEMs/supplier/sites as per the Procurement SOP of the company.
∎ Based on the annual maintenance forecast and requisition/demand from the production planning team and technical store department of Maintenance section, make an annual plan to procure the items on timely manner.
∎ Follow up the end-to-end process of procurement and managing supply chain.
∎ Delivering and managing cost saving for the company.
∎ Consult with suppliers and learn to analyze suppliers’ operations and determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required deadlines.
∎ Compile and analyze statistical data to help determine prospects of buying goods and to help establish price objectives.
∎ Evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, recommend suppliers, follow up orders placed, verify deliveries, freight negotiations (import & export), approve payments, and maintain necessary documentation.
∎ Submitting the requisition/bill to the accounts department for necessary payment with necessary documents, follow up and expedite the payment process.
∎ Develop and maintain good business relations with internal and external suppliers.
∎ Enlist the new supplier in to the SAP/S4HANA as per the company SOP and guidelines.
∎ Monitoring physically store inventory, prepare the list of required items on demand basis as per the annual maintenance forecast of the Aircraft and technical store stock inventory.
∎ Correspondence with Chief Controller of Import & Export (CCIE), forwarding agents and Customs Clearing and Forwarding agent (C & F), monitoring customs assessment process, Checking items wise HS code, SRO benefits, customs inspection process and smooth clearance of the consignments from the customs.
∎ Deal with Customs Commissioner, JC, DC, RO and ARO on case by case upon the requirement. Prepare the annual budget of the individual aircraft for the submission to the management annually.
